100% my favorite pasta place in alll of LA, and that's saying something! The pasta is always cooked to perfection, and the low light, candle lit sets the mood just right for date night! The wait is pretty long, so don't arrive hungry, best to come in 1-2 hours before you'd like to eat, get your names down and then just walk around in the neighborhood. The wait is totally worth it!

This is my second time at Uovo, but first at this location. We came at 8ish on a Saturday night and put our names on the list, took about an hour to get a table for two of us. Long wait but expected as it's a popular restaurant. They ship their pasta in everyday from Italy which is really cool, although my honest opinion is that while it's good pasta, there's nothing exceptional about it. My boyf and friends loveee this place but I think the pastas and the sauces are too simple for my style of pasta dish. First time I got the truffle pasta which was lightly flavored with olive oil and truffle, it was good but again quite simple and flavorless. This time I tried the small raviolis with the cheese pasta sauce and it was yummy but also had very simple taste. I think I prefer pasta with meat and veggies and more sauce and some spice. It's def an authentic Italian joint and the food is good but I can't say I'd choose to come here often compared to other Italian places around the area.

One of my favorite, go-to places for pasta !! Everything I've had here was so delicious, they've never missed before. The service is quick, and it's always a good place for a nice lunch or dinner.

Went here for the first time before a show. No reservations and we only waited about 20 minutes. We had the crispiest Pinto Grigio and paired it with the prefix menu. I love that we can sample 3 pastas and and entree for $37! AND you get dessert too! The servers were very attentive. I definitely plan on returning.

This place claims to import their pasta everyday fresh from Italy and the texture from the pasta is noticeable that it is different than most pasta here. They have pasta samplers but if you order that, it has to be at least 2 people to order it. Their sauce is quite good but most sauce don't have any protein in it. The truffle pasta was by far the tastiest. The price is a bit expensive though. I would recommend trying at least once because it really is a different experience when it comes to pasta. Their yellowtail crudo isn't very good so don't expect much from it. The sauce they put on it has no taste. Is like what's the point of it? Their tiramisu is also not very good. Is mostly cream. There are barely any ladyfingers or cake part in it. Oh and come early because this place gets packed fast.

Pasta in its purest form! This place is a no frills no nonsense place that shies away from preserved foods in order to focus on simple ingredients done right. I had the Tagliatelle in truffle sauce which was exquisite. The truffle flavor really hits hard and the pasta soaked up the flavor perfectly. The texture of the pasta was also perfect. I can have this dish many more times! I also like that the portion size is just right. Definitely check this place out!

My favorite pasta spot in LA! Uovo is such a wonderful culinary adventure. We got the classic tasting menu on my most recent visit, which serves 2, and each dish was a delight. The pasta feels very fresh and chewy, which makes sense because it's handmade and they import it overnight from Italy! Additionally, the tiramisu at the end was a great way to end off the meal. The tasting menus are on the pricier side, but you can also get individual pasta dishes for a lower price, and those are just as good. The portions may look small, but it's very filling! Do note that seating is a bit limited and service is alright but not extraordinary.

The vibe and ambience here is magnificent!! Sitting on the water with the backdrop low lights and the cooks cooking in the middle is something out of a movie. This would be a good spot for a somewhat simple, secluded first date. At this location there will be a decent wait if you don't book a reservation. There's another location around mid city/century city that you won't have to wait if you don't have a reservation. The food was 7.8/10. I say this just because I've had really really good pasta. The pasta here is simple which is not a bad thing at all. It's a quick eat and a bit smaller of a portion. I love the truffle pasta and I love that it's not super heavy like other creamy pastas. The hamachi crudo is one that you would expect for an Italian spot.

Came here for a quick bite before an event. Cute place. Very intimate with dim lights, plenty of bar seating as well as tables. Had the Homemade pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. Can't remember entree name it it had Pepe in it. Good service and gratuity is already included in bill. Makes it super easy to check out.

Pasta here is delicious! I got the Ragu and the noodles were just insanely tasty. You could actually taste the difference. The Ragu meat was also good. I could have used maybe 1/3 more pasta and definitely more meat. It felt a bit plain even once mixed. My friend got the lasagna and enjoyed it but also could have used a 1/3 more. It's kind of a skinny slice and not very heavy on the meat or tomato. Friendly staff, dark inside but outdoor seating, and food comes out quickly.
